A few words about my pictures, nearly all have been taken with a Canon, a few of them with a Nikon. My old pictures have been retouched by the past, sometimes heavily, but today I try not to. I'm only taking picture by passion, I'm an amateur, it's a way for me to immortalize interesting daily life scenes.

Lot of the photos here have been taken with a prime lens, the more often with a 50mm (f/1,4 and f/1,8).

Thank you for taking time to read these few lines, and do not hesitate to contact me, I answer to all the emails.

the misc

You may have noticed the 20 gray boxes under the top menu. You can use them to calibrate your screen for a better "viewing experience".

If your screen is correctly calibrated, you may clearly distinguish 20 boxes starting on the left with a white one and ending with a black one on the right. Every boxes must have a different shade of grey.

If it's not the case, you can follow these 3 simple steps:

  • On your monitor, set the contrast and luminosity to the minimum.
  • Increase slowly the luminosity until you distinguish the black box at the right from his neighbor. Stop the setup of the luminosity at this point.
  • Increase the contrast until you distinguish the white box on the left from his neighbor, stop the setup when you consider the white color to be pure.

That's it your screen has been calibrated !

If you are using Internet Explorer (6 or 7), you may see random bug on the design so I recommend you to switch to one of the following browsers : Firefox, Chrome, Opera or Safari.
